Location: Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot, Devon

Hours: Bank Hours available to cover 24.25 hour shifts usually from 7pm to 7:15pm (sleeping nights included)

Pay:

Pay Rate 1: £16.67 per hour, Monday to Sunday, Days, 7am -11pm
Pay Rate 2: £13.78 per hour, Monday to Sunday, Sleeping Nights

Job Summary

We are recruiting an experienced Bank Support Worker to work with our client as 1:1 support, a gentleman in his 50s with an acquired brain injury, who lives in his own home in the Bovey Tracey area, near Newton Abbot..

He is largely independent with personal care; however, he requires support with problem-solving, accessing the community, maintaining his safety, and promoting his independence, emotional wellbeing, and physical health.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Maintaining the client's independence and daily routine by providing one-to-one support
Adopting an appropriate approach as guided by the Case Manager, Team Leaders and therapists involved in our client's care
Promoting his well-being to achieve positive outcomes
Excellent communication with other team members
Accurate record keeping is an essential aspect of the role
