Full job description

We're looking for an Information Manager to join our Natural Resources team based in Bridgwater working on our major environmental project, Bridgwater Tidal Barrier

Location: Bridgwater, Somerset

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

This Information Manager role will focus on adopting our information management process across the Bridgwater Tidal Barrier project, ensuring compliance with industry and Kier standards, focusing on ISO 19650, and helping to deliver against client requirements. You'll be working collaboratively within a supportive team environment, where your expertise will make a real difference to our projects and people.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Information Manager, you'll be working within the team, supporting them in delivering excellence in information management.

Your day to day will include:

Implementing our digital strategy for information management including systems and processes for the CDE across all live projects
Conducting audits and generating reports for compliance on live projects, working with project teams to close out any corrective actions required
Actively seek feedback from the business unit employees on the use of CDE and communicate this information to management
Ensuring EDMs is configured to CDE principles, as per Kier standards and BS EN ISO 19650
Leading CDE launch meetings and delivering training to project teams and stakeholders

What are we looking for?

This role of Information Manager is great for you if you hold:

Strong understanding of the practical application of information management procedures, including effective workflows, change control and management
Demonstrative capability of delivering ISO 19650 across projects
Proficiency in the management of EDMs configured to CDE principles
Experience working on projects with large volumes of data from various sources along with an understanding of use security permissions
Experience of effective communication with multidisciplinary design teams, client teams and subcontractors with the ability to educate all stakeholders in CDE protocols, ensuring adherence
Comprehension and administration of ISO 19650-2 National Annex, including TIDP and MIDP management
Experience of conducting audits
Awareness of industry working groups and aspirations
Competent with the Microsoft 365 suite of tools, specifically Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
Full driving licence
