Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic hospitality team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our kitchen environment, supporting chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Duties

Washing, peeling, and preparing ingredients for cooking or service
Cleaning dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment to high standards
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks under supervision
Maintaining cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and storage areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
Supporting the organisation of stock and supplies within the kitchen
Assisting with waste disposal and recycling procedures
Ensuring compliance with hygiene standards at all times
Supporting the overall organisation of the kitchen to facilitate smooth service flow

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or catering environment is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
Familiarity with food preparation and basic cooking techniques is desirable
Experience working in a busy kitchen or hospitality setting will be beneficial
A keen interest in culinary arts or hospitality industry careers is encouraged
Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are essential
