Full job description

Composite Trimmer Fitter

Locality: Sawtry Cambridgeshire

The Company:

MPA specialises in the manufacture of precision carbon fibre reinforced components/assemblies & tooling, primarily for motorsport, automotive, aerospace and communications sectors.

We are in search of a Trimmer Fitter to join our composite fitting team.

Responsibilities:

Work with composite materials whilst following recognised safety practices
Good hand skills and eye detail
Solid understanding of patterns, moulds, composite materials and bonding processes would be advantageous
Be able to inspect their own work, and follow detailed engineering drawings
Have an understanding of the aerospace, motorsport and defence industry is highly preferred

Basic Requirements:

Ability to work in a pressured environment but able to remain calm, measured and resilient
Able to work to tight deadlines
Able to work with minimal supervision with good verbal communication and listening skills.
Have a good eye for detail, pride in own workmanship and comfortable working with the common hand and power/pneumatic tools.

Job Type: Full-time
