Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled <PERSON> to join our construction and maintenance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of building, repair, and installation projects with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal of our structures, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship across diverse sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and safety are paramount.

Duties

Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform masonry, carpentry, roofing, and general construction tasks
Lay bricks, blocks, and stones with attention to detail to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality
Install roofing systems, including shingles, metal panels, or other materials, following safety standards and project specifications
Operate welding equipment to join metal components securely for structural or decorative purposes
Read blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans
Conduct site inspections to assess progress, identify safety hazards, and ensure compliance with building codes
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding, or related trades
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction work
Strong knowledge of building techniques including bricklaying and general masonry skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical stamina to perform demanding manual tasks in various weather conditions
Valid certifications or licenses related to roofing, welding or other specialized skills are a plus
