Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic sales team. This role is essential to supporting the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the achievement of company sales targets. The ideal candidate will be proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong ability to manage and grow relationships with our clients. Their primary role will be assisting with account management to support our growth in specific geographic areas and/or sectors, such as Satcoms, Telecoms, Govt and Defence.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring previous consultative sales experience, with a proven ability to build strong customer relationships and identify customer needs. They will have experience handling technical enquiries and producing highly accurate documentation, including quotations, proposals and datasheets. A proactive and self-motivated approach is essential, along with a genuine commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Strong IT skills are also required, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint, together with experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
The successful candidate will be confident communicating professionally with customers across international markets, both via email and over the phone. They will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to achieve agreed objectives, budgets and timescales.
Key Accountabilities

Support the Sales Management Team in building and developing relationships with new and existing accounts and providing excellent customer service.

Engage with existing and prospective customers for projects up to £25,000 across all of ETL’s product families.

Review and respond to all quotation requests in a timely fashion, ensuring all compliance, legal, certification and shipping detail is complete and accurate, and ensuring detailed information is given on lead times and managing the throughput of orders to ensure on time delivery.

Proactively seek new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, conducting research, and following up on leads.

Provide additional in office support to the Sales Management Team during their time out of the office (holidays, exhibitions, customer visits) to ensure continuity of customer service.
Desirables

Knowledge of Satcoms / RF equipment or other electronic equipment (B2B)

A Bachelors degree in Electronics, Business, or a related field.

A demonstrable, commercial background operating across an international landscape.
