Job Overview

We require a Commercial Cleaner to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of cleaning an office and manufacturing site.

You will be working alongside an enthusiastic and welcoming workforce.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a clean and inviting workspace for all.

The ideal candidate would work 3.5 hours per day on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Totalling 10.5 hours per week.

You will be responsible for:

General cleaning of our offices and manufacturing site, including but not limited to sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, tidying, polishing, emptying bins, cleaning and sanitising restrooms and break areas,
Maintaining cleanliness of common areas and high traffic areas
Assessing requirements for jobs and prioritising tasks
Identifying defects, communicating issues efficiently to your supervisor and recommending remedial actions.
Adhere to health and safety policies, ensuring safe working conditions at all times.
Maintaining cleaning stock levels to ensure readiness for tasks, placing orders with our purchasing department as and when required
Disposing of site waste responsibly

Experience

The successful candidate should ideally possess:

A passion for cleanliness and a keen eye for detail
Previous cleaning experience in an office and manufacturing environment preferred but not essential
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners
Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
Time management skills to prioritise and complete duties
Ability to work independently
Strong communication skills
Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies and procedures
