Job Summary

Join our dynamic security team as a Security Officer, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the safety and protection of our facilities, staff, and visitors. In this energized role, you will be responsible for monitoring premises through surveillance systems, preventing loss, and responding swiftly to any incidents. Your dedication to maintaining a secure environment will help foster a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your security skills while making a meaningful impact every day.

Duties

The main part of this role is the locking up and securing of a very large premises, it requires someone that is fit and healthy.

Conduct continuous surveillance using CCTV cameras to monitor activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid when needed and coordinating with emergency responders.
Perform routine patrols of the facility’s interior and exterior areas to detect irregularities or safety hazards.
Familiarity with CCTV systems, alarm monitoring, and loss prevention techniques is highly advantageous.
Basic knowledge of first aid procedures to effectively respond to medical emergencies on-site.
Strong observational skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior quickly and accurately.
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency personnel.
Ability to remain alert during shifts while maintaining professionalism in all situations.
