About GoBear Loans
GoBear Loans is an FCA-authorised specialist mortgage brokerage based in St Mellons, Cardiff.
We predominantly operate on a B2B basis, with most of our business introduced by mortgage brokers across the UK. Brokers refer customers to us when specialist lending expertise is required, when they do not have access to the most appropriate lender or product, or where our lending solutions may provide greater flexibility for the customer’s circumstances.
Our expertise includes specialist residential mortgages, buy-to-let, first and second charge mortgages, bridging finance, lifetime mortgages and commercial finance. We also have access to the wider mortgage market, including high street lenders, which we use where appropriate for direct customers and customer referrals.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a CeMAP-qualified mortgage professional to join our expanding team.
The Opportunity
This is a telephone-based advisory role where you will take full ownership of each customer’s mortgage journey, from the initial application through to completion. You will provide regulated mortgage advice, assess and package cases for submission, liaise with lenders and professional partners, and ensure every application progresses as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
All leads are provided, with no requirement to generate your own business.
Before an enquiry is passed to the GoBear Loans adviser, the introducing mortgage broker will have received an indicative quotation based on the customer’s stated needs and circumstances. The broker will have discussed this with their longstanding customer and, once the customer confirms they are happy to proceed, the GoBear Loans adviser will make contact to complete the full advice and application process and manage the case through to completion.
Your core workload will include specialist first charge, second charge, residential and buy-to-let mortgages, alongside some high street residential cases.
You will receive structured training in specialist mortgage advice and packaging and will be supported under our Training and Competence Scheme until you achieve Competent Adviser Status and full role competency sign-off.

- Identify and resolve issues that may prevent or delay an application.
- Provide customers and introducers with regular, accurate progress updates.
