Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks within a busy dental practice. This role requires a professional demeanour, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
Process patient payments.
Assist dental staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming for patients.

Skills

Previous office experience is essential, preferably in a Dental or Healthcare setting.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable manner.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a calm disposition.
Proficiency in using computer systems and dental software is advantageous.
