Job Type: Permanent

Hours: 48 hours per week on a rota shift basis with the office being covered from 06.00-19.00hrs.

Annual Salary: £38-£42K depending on experience.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Traffic Planner to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our car transport services.

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with drivers to coordinate schedules and resolve queries.
Plan routes and build loads to maximise efficiency.
Ensure optimal utilisation of our fleet of transporters and drivers.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer and dealer enquiries.
Maintain regular communication with customers, shipping agents, and dealers.
Provide cover for other team members during absences.
Undertake additional reasonable duties as required, in line with the nature of the role.

Skills and Experience

Strong organisational and planning skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous experience in transport operations or logistics is desirable.
A high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise workload
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Word.
Due to our location, you must have your own transport.
