Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to invite applications for an Administrator role within our newly established Assertive Outreach Team (AOT).

This innovative service will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with complex mental health needs who may struggle to engage with traditional services. Operating across the City of Oxford, the team will deliver proactive, flexible support, responding to need in a timely and coordinated manner.

Assertive Outreach is founded on active engagement rather than office-based care. Staff will work flexibly across the city, supporting individuals in community settings, their homes or Trust premises. Interventions will be tailored, relationship-focused and recovery-oriented, promoting continuity, trust and consistent engagement. Shared caseload responsibility, alongside a key worker model and regular MDT reviews, will enable rapid responses to relapse, risk and disengagement.

Successful applicants will be confident in managing complexity and dynamic risk, while working within a recovery-focused, trauma-informed framework. This is an opportunity to help shape a new service and make a meaningful difference across Oxford.

The Team Administrator for the Oxfordshire Assertive Outreach Team (AOT) provides essential administrative support to the multidisciplinary team, contributing to the effective and efficient delivery of the service.
Based within the AOT team base, the post holder undertakes a range of day to day administrative duties including managing records, processing referrals, coordinating meetings, maintaining electronic systems, and supporting communication across the team.

You will:
Be responsible for providing an efficient administrative/secretarial service to the Oxon AOT.

Be a main contact and the channel of communication between users of the service, maintaining a professional but sympathetic manner.

Deal appropriately with sensitive and confidential information from the clinical team Using initiative to direct appropriately.

Provide ad hoc, flexible, and focussed admin support to the team as required, ensuring that the office is stocked with relevant forms and stationery to ensure a smooth-running office.

Assist the Office Manager in the collection and collation of statistical information as required whilst adhering to strict deadlines.
Ensure accurate clinical activity data is submitted. Maintain data input and the updating of information where necessary.
