10 years into the trade now and Walsall Wood Tyre & Service is trying to break what we believe to be a broken dealer franchise model where there are layers on non productive staff that lack the communication skills and desire to deliver disproportionate value to the customer with extraordinary value.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our brand and team are growing fast and we are on the look out to add another key member to the team. A service controller would be a focused individual with high levels of motivation to succeed. Have excellent computer skills and be able to input data efficiently.

The role breaks down into multi responsibilities but ultimately 3 key components.

- Customers
- Technicians
- Suppliers

Each one of these factors bring their own challenges and hurdles but when controlled you can become one of the best rounded persons in an any automotive organisation we are looking to add another 2 people to our team.

We are building a scalable model that plans to roll out into new locations over time and successful candidates will be firstly considered for managerial roles of new sites.

Customers
Starting from new enquiries to on the day updates to after sales care. Meeting and greeting familiar customers and new faces everyday, all requiring us to have their vehicular issue resolved as safe and as timely as possible, while keeping the customer confident throughout.

Being able to quickly identify a customers best path for resolution to make their experience as seamless as possible.

Using various fleet platforms with authorisation submissions.

Technicians

Liaise with technicians talking through jobs and receiving information from technicians reference their work and diagnosis.

Updating their job sheets throughout vehicle journey and reading and interpreting their information/feedback.

Supply Chain

Having and growing relationships with suppliers to ensure right part first time is almost always the case, the motor trade as you may already know is one of the fastest progressing trades out there so it requires and extremely keen eye for detail, having great relationships with suppliers is absolutely essential.

The supply chain in our business is vast using all kinds of vendors on different occasions to take from problem to fixed. Knowing what options you have around you is imperative.

Bringing in vendor invoices into stock and moving them appropriately the garage management system to improve workflow is extremely important.
