About FSE Digital

FSE Digital is a full-service digital marketing agency based in Chelmsford, working with ambitious businesses across Essex, London and the South East.

Our services include SEO, PPC, website development, social media, email marketing and digital strategy. We build long-term client relationships and aim to become a trusted part of every client’s business.

We are looking for a Client Account Manager to join our team and manage a portfolio of approximately 15–20 clients.

About the Role

You will be the main point of contact for your clients and will own the overall client relationship.

Your role will be to make sure clients feel informed, valued and confident that FSE is helping them move their business forward. You will work closely with our SEO, PPC, website, social media and wider digital teams, coordinating communication and ensuring agreed actions are completed.

This is a relationship-led role for someone who enjoys talking to clients, understanding how businesses work, solving problems and being proactive.

You do not need to be a technical expert in every area of digital marketing, but you should be comfortable discussing performance, asking questions and explaining marketing activity clearly.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of approximately 15–20 clients.
Build strong, long-term client relationships.
Act as the main point of contact for client queries and communication.
Organise and lead client meetings.
Prepare for meetings by reviewing performance and outstanding actions.
Explain digital marketing activity and results in clear, straightforward language.
Coordinate with internal specialists across SEO, PPC, websites, social media and other services.
Follow up on actions and ensure deadlines are met.
Identify potential issues before they become complaints.
Bring proactive ideas and recommendations to clients.
Support client retention and long-term account development.
Identify genuine opportunities for additional services where they would benefit the client.
Keep client records, actions and communication up to date.

About You

You may have experience in account management, client services, customer success, digital marketing, agency work or another client-facing role.

You will be a strong fit if you:

Are interested in learning more about digital marketing.

Previous experience in an agency or digital marketing environment would be useful, but it is not essential if you have strong client relationship and communication skills.

Salary of £30,000–£42,500 per year.

What Success Looks Like

You will become someone clients trust and someone the internal team can rely on to make sure communication, actions and expectations are managed effectively.
