Location: Bristol / Bath

Sector: High-End Residential Construction

Salary: £55,000 + Package (Negotiable)

The Opportunity

A specialist contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of bespoke high-end residential projects across Bristol, Bath and the surrounding areas.

Working on luxury refurbishments, extensions, heritage properties and one-off new build homes, you’ll be responsible for managing projects where quality, craftsmanship and client experience are paramount. Projects are typically architect-led and require exceptional attention to detail throughout the build process.

This role would suit an individual with a strong trade background who takes pride in delivering exceptional finishes and enjoys working closely with clients, consultants and specialist subcontractors.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

Managing high-specification residential projects from start to completion
Coordinating trades, subcontractors and suppliers on site
Maintaining programme and budget objectives
Ensuring exceptional quality standards throughout construction
Managing health and safety compliance
Liaising with homeowners, architects and consultants
Managing refurbishment, extension and bespoke new-build projects
Conducting regular quality inspections
Managing material procurement and deliveries
Resolving technical and construction challenges
Producing progress reports and programme updates
Ensuring successful project handovers

About You

Previous experience as a Site Manager within high-end residential construction
Strong trade background essential
Experience delivering luxury refurbishments and bespoke homes
Excellent eye for detail and quality
Strong client-facing and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors effectively
SMSTS qualification
CSCS Card
First Aid qualification
Full UK driving licence
