Full job description

Patient Services Advisor - Relief Hours

We are looking for an individual to join our Patient Services Team who is:

Enthusiastic and self-motivated
Able to use their initiative
An Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
Able to listen and empathise
Keen to learn and develop
Able to demonstrate attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable
Competent with IT

Hours: This will be a zero hours contract although there is scope for permanent hours to be offered in the future.

Our working hours are between 8am and 7pm so you must be able to work within those times and MUST be flexible and available at short notice to cover in times of sickness and holiday.

In the role of Patient Services Advisor, you will receive, assist, and direct patients in accessing the appropriate services or healthcare professionals in a courteous, efficient, and effective way whether this be face to face or over the telephone. You will also undertake a variety of administrative tasks to assist with the smooth running of the practice.

Skills required include:

Excellent customer service skills.
Good administrative and organisational skills.
IT literate with good keyboard skills.
Excellent telephony skills.
Understand and observe strict confidentiality.
