Full job description

Overview

We're looking for a proactive, detail-oriented HR Advisor to join our growing team. You'll play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of client organisations with practical, hands-on HR support, offering pragmatic, tailored advice rather than one-size-fits-all guidance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background and a genuine interest in people management, who wants to build their HR career across a varied client base.

As HR Advisor, you'll be the day-to-day point of contact for a number of client accounts, managing HR administration across the full employee lifecycle. This is primarily an administrative and client account management role, so you'll need to be organised, responsive and comfortable juggling multiple clients at once, backed up by solid generalist HR knowledge.

Duties

Managing day-to-day HR administration for client accounts (contracts, letters, policy documents, employee records)
Managing and updating employee information within HRIS platforms, including attendance, leave and performance data
Acting as first point of contact for client HR queries
Supporting employee relations casework (disciplinaries, grievances, absence, performance) under guidance
Assisting with recruitment processes and supporting onboarding, including coordinating documentation and new starter integration
Preparing standard HR correspondence and documentation
Flagging anything that needs escalating or more senior input

Requirements

5 years' HR experience (essential)
CIPD Level 5 (or working towards - essential)
Solid generalist HR knowledge and working understanding of UK employment law
Strong administrative skills, accurate, organised, and comfortable with high volumes of documentation
Confident managing multiple client accounts and priorities at once
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
Able to work well under pressure
Highly computer literate
Strong prioritisation skills
Excellent attention to detail
