We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the team at The Lodge, situated in the beautiful Buckshaw Retirement Village. If you are a King or Queen of clean, come and be a part of our Housekeeping dream team!

Here at The Lodge we have developed a unique approach by combining beautiful, purpose-built accommodation with a dynamic and lively activity and wellbeing programme and access to 24-hour care and support.

Pay & Hours:

Rate of Pay - £12.72 per hour
Hours of Work –20 hours per week
Shift Pattern – 2 pm - 6pm or 6pm - 10pm

The Role:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Laundry Assistant to join our care home team. This role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort for our residents.

Washing, drying, ironing, and folding residents’ clothing and linens
Ensuring all laundry is handled with care and returned promptly to the correct residents
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the laundry area
Following infection control and health & safety procedures at all times
Managing increased laundry demands, including additional loads.

About You:

Have patience, communication and listening skills
Have a positive attitude
You should be naturally caring, passionate and committed to providing the best possible care
Be able to work as part of a team
