Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/Front of House to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all patrons. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and food service, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced setting. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in the hospitality industry while contributing to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring quality standards are met.
Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and display cases.
Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards at all times.
Assist with food preparation tasks as needed.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
Restock supplies and ingredients as required to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with company policies.

Experience

Previous barista experience is essential; and training will be provided for the right candidate.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers in a hospitality environment is desirable.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills.
A friendly attitude with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
