Job Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiters and Waitresses to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest service in a lively dining environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position involves delivering food and beverages efficiently while ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and take their orders with attentiveness and professionalism
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
Assist with setting tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing knowledgeable recommendations
Handle guest queries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Follow food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of orders
Process payments accurately using the POS system and provide receipts to guests
Maintain a clean, organised work station throughout shifts

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour to enhance guest experiences
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment
