Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Advanced Metal Engineering & Manufacturing Executive to lead innovative initiatives in the metal fabrication and manufacturing sector. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive strategic growth, optimize production processes, and elevate product quality through cutting-edge engineering practices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering, fabrication techniques, and advanced manufacturing technologies, with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing processes for metal fabrication, including welding, assembly, and tooling.
Oversee design and drafting activities using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create detailed schematics and technical drawings.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues in production workflows, quality deviations, or equipment failures, implementing effective corrective actions.
Manage the integration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation of manufacturing systems to enhance efficiency and precision.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop schematics, mechanical designs, and plastic injection molding processes where applicable.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing process data, optimizing tooling, and applying GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precision manufacturing.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality protocols while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship in fabrication, welding, and assembly operations.

Skills

Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in metal fabrication, welding, assembly, and tooling.
Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks for designing components and creating detailed schematics.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in root cause analysis to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues effectively.
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems within manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of GD&T principles to ensure precise tolerances in engineering drawings and manufactured parts.
Experience in plastics injection molding processes is a plus for versatile manufacturing capabilities.
Ability to lead continuous improvement projects focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and quality enhancement.
