We’re looking for a Café Assistant to join our team and help create a welcoming, enjoyable experience for everyone who visits. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in good service, and likes being part of a busy, friendly environment.

What you’ll be doing

Preparing and serving high‑quality coffee and other drinks
Serving food and supporting basic food preparation
Operating the till and handling customer transactions
Restocking and maintaining vending machines

What we’re looking for

A positive, approachable manner
Good communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to learn and support different tasks across the café

Salary: Grade C - £23,639.33 (pro rata)

Contracted roles follow a three point grading structure, with the opportunity to advance annually through the PDR (Performance and Development Review) process.

Location : Congleton Park Cafe & Leisure Centre

Hours: 24 per week
(Typically this will include 3x 8 hour shifts, or 4x 6 hours shifts, spread over a week, occasional evenings & weekends will be included)
