Job Overview

This position is for a live in carer based in Stoke Gabriel, experience is essential. Rates of pay to be discussed in interview.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-in Carer to provide exceptional support and care to an individual in their own home on a rostered basis. This role offers a unique opportunity to build meaningful relationships while delivering personalised assistance that enhances quality of life. As a Live-in Carer, you will be the primary caregiver, offering round-the-clock support, ensuring safety, comfort, and well-being for those in your care. Your energetic approach and positive attitude will make a real difference in the lives of clients needing assistance with daily activities, health management, and emotional support.

Responsibilities

-Administering medication
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individual
- Assist with personal care
- Engage in meaningful conversations and activities with individual
- Monitor and report any changes in the individual's condition or behaviour
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the individual
- Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors

Requirements

Full UK driving licence and ability to drive between client residences
Previous experience working in a care environment is essential;
Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others’ wellbeing
Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment
