Full job description

Minuteman Press Dunfermline is looking for a motivated, confident and proactive Sales and Marketing Executive to help grow our customer base and generate new business across the local area.

As part of an international print, design and marketing organisation with more than 50 years of experience, we provide a wide range of solutions for customers of all sizes, including business cards, flyers, brochures, menus, signage, promotional products, branded clothing and more.

This is an external sales role, ideal for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships and identifying opportunities. You will be out and about as part of the role, using our proven marketing programmes to seek out new business while also bringing your own sales experience, ideas and personal approach to help drive growth.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities through external sales activity, local prospecting and structured follow-up.
Use Minuteman Press marketing programmes and campaigns to identify, approach and engage potential customers.
Visit local businesses, introduce our products and services, and build strong working relationships with decision-makers.
Develop your own sales pipeline through networking, referrals, research and direct outreach.
Promote our full range of print, design, signage, promotional products, branded clothing and marketing services.
Follow up leads promptly and professionally by phone, email and face to face.
Work closely with the internal team to ensure customer requirements are understood, quoted accurately and delivered to a high standard.
Maintain accurate records of prospects, customer activity and sales opportunities.

About You

Previous experience in sales, business development, marketing or a customer-facing role would be highly advantageous.
Confident meeting new people, approaching businesses and presenting products and services in a professional way.
Self-motivated, proactive and comfortable working out and about in the local business community.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and develop long-term customer relationships.
A positive attitude, resilience and the ability to follow up consistently.
Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own diary, prospects and sales activity.
Creative thinking and the confidence to bring your own sales and marketing ideas to the role.
Experience in print, design, signage, promotional products or marketing services would be beneficial, although training can be provided.
A full UK driving licence would be advantageous due to the external nature of the role.
