Full job description

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain food safety, quality assurance and regulatory compliance systems across all branches.

Establish and monitor company-wide standards for food hygiene, preparation, storage, allergen management and product quality.

Conduct regular branch food safety, quality and compliance audits and prepare detailed audit reports.

Identify food safety risks, non-conformities and quality issues and implement appropriate corrective and preventative actions.

Monitor compliance with relevant UK food safety, hygiene, allergen and regulatory requirements.

Develop, review and update food safety policies, quality standards and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Monitor consistency and quality of bubble tea, iced tea, ingredients, preparation methods and service standards across branches.

Review food safety incidents, customer complaints and quality failures, identify root causes and recommend improvements.

Monitor ingredient and supplier quality, specifications and compliance requirements.

Develop and coordinate food safety, hygiene, allergen and quality training for branch managers and employees.

Maintain accurate compliance, audit, incident, corrective-action and training records.

Analyse audit results, compliance data and recurring issues and provide reports and recommendations to senior management.

Support the food safety and compliance requirements of new branch openings and business expansion.

Liaise with suppliers, external food safety professionals and relevant regulatory authorities where required.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen food safety, quality, compliance and operational standards across the branch network.

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate should demonstrate:

knowledge of food safety and quality management principles;

understanding of UK food safety and regulatory requirements;

ability to develop and implement policies and procedures;

experience of conducting audits or compliance inspections;

ability to analyse quality and compliance information;

strong report-writing and documentation skills;

ability to identify risks and implement corrective actions;

ability to train and advise operational staff;

strong organisational and project-management skills;

ability to work independently across multiple locations;

strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Qualifications

A relevant degree, professional qualification or equivalent experience in an appropriate field such as:

food science;

food safety;

food technology;

quality management;

regulatory compliance;

environmental health;

hospitality/food operations; or

another relevant discipline

Pay: Up to £34,000.00 per year
