Full job description

Fuel Station Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

Hire, recruit and train service station staff.
Ensure that station is applying the correct fuel retail prices as instructed from time to time to maximize fuel profit margins.
Ensure the Service Station is always neat, clean, tidy and organized.
Delivering department routines.
Manually condensing stock and handling products with care to maintain product quality. Ensure the safe running of the petrol station.
Ensures customer complaints and queries regarding sales and service are appropriately handled; Serve our customers at the checkout and replenish stock in the store.
Responsible for influencing, motivating, and guiding a team.
Plan and manage the staff rota, stock availability and sales targets.
To carry out monthly fuel audits to ensure the correct payments of monies and security of the Company & fuel stocks.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum three years' experience in fuel station or retail management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience in fuel stock control, cash management and retail operations.
Good understanding of Health & Safety and Petroleum Regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions.
Professional appearance and attention to detail. Flexible to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Salary £42,000 per annum

Pay: £42,000.00-£43,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
