Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, driven and digitally savvy Social Media & Content Specialist to join our team and take responsibility for developing and strengthening our online presence.

The successful candidate will play a key role in creating engaging, high-quality content across our social media channels, developing creative campaigns and helping to grow our audience and brand visibility. You will have a strong understanding of social media trends, excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for creating content that gets noticed.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is proactive, creative and confident in bringing new ideas to the table. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of our social media presence, work closely with the wider team and make a visible contribution to our marketing and business development activities.

Duties

Develop and implement a creative and consistent social media strategy across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and other relevant channels
Create, plan and publish engaging content, including written posts, short-form videos, reels, stories, graphics and other digital content
Develop content that reflects the firm's brand, values, expertise and professional image
Manage the social media content calendar and ensure content is planned and published consistently
Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of social media accounts
Monitor comments, messages and engagement and respond appropriately and professionally
Identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach, followers and brand awareness
Work closely with the legal and wider business teams to identify stories, achievements, events and developments that can be turned into engaging content
Assist with the creation of campaigns to promote the firm's services, achievements, team members and wider activities
Develop creative ideas and scripts for video content
Keep up to date with current social media trends, platform developments, popular formats and emerging content styles
Monitor competitors and industry activity to identify opportunities and generate new content ideas
Track and report on social media performance, using analytics to identify what is working and make recommendations for improvement
Maintain consistency in the firm's tone of voice, visual identity and overall brand presentation

Requirements

Previous experience in social media management, digital marketing, content creation or a similar role
Demonstrable experience creating engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
Strong written communication skills with an ability to produce clear, engaging and professional content
Excellent understanding of current social media trends, formats and audience engagement strategies
Creative mindset with a strong eye for visual content, branding and presentation
Experience creating and editing short-form video content, reels and social media graphics
Confident using social media platforms and content scheduling/management tools
Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan and manage a content calendar
Ability to work independently, take initiative and manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of written and visual work
Commercial awareness and an understanding of how social media can contribute to brand awareness, client engagement and business growth
Professional, reliable and confident when communicating with colleagues and external contacts
Experience with Canva, Go High Level, CapCut or similar content creation tools would be advantageous
