Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a focus on creating high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents, lead a team, and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The Pizza Chef will be responsible for overseeing the entire pizza-making process, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and inspiring a cohesive team dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
Work to Company spec
Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen
Ensure all preparation is complete for service
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
Monitor food quality throughout the preparation process, making adjustments as needed to meet standards
Ensure Cleaning Standards are met
Ensure all HACCAP paperwork is up to date

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment
Excellent Communication Skills
Ability to work alone
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of quality
Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and cleanliness
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
