Overview

Business Administrator

Job Purpose

To provide efficient and professional administrative support across the business, assisting with day-to-day office administration, accounts administration, purchasing and employee records. The role requires a high level of organisation, accuracy and confidentiality, together with a flexible approach to supporting the wider team and the smooth running of the business.

Key Responsibilities

· General Administration

· Accounts Administration

· Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Company’s accounts function

· Provide general purchasing support to the business

· Ensure diligent adherence to Company procedures and policies.

Essential Skills & Experience

· Previous experience in an administrative or office-based role.

· Good organisational and time-management skills.

· Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.

· Ability to maintain accurate records and manage confidential information.

· Ability to work independently and use initiative.

· Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.

· Professional and approachable manner.

· Reliable, conscientious and willing to support the wider team.

Desirable Skills & Experience

· Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment

· Familiarity with accounting, ERP or business management systems.

The successful candidate will be:

· Organised and methodical.

· Reliable and dependable.

· Proactive and willing to use their initiative.

· Approachable and a good team player.

· Discreet and trustworthy when dealing with confidential information.

· Flexible and adaptable to changing business requirements.

· Comfortable working across different areas of the business and supporting colleagues when required.

The business operates a 4 day working week (Monday – Thursday) and applications are invited from full-time and part-time candidates.

Pay: £25,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
