Overview

Spa at Ye Olde Bell

Hours: 20 hours per week, typically worked over 2 x 10-hour shifts
Weekend Working: Essential requirement of the role

Spa at Ye Olde Bell is a luxury day spa, renowned for its beautiful surroundings, exceptional facilities and outstanding guest service.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and professional Reception Team Member to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a warm, welcoming and memorable experience from the moment a guest contacts the spa.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a warm, professional welcome and exceptional customer service.
Handle enquiries by phone, email, social media and face-to-face.
Take and manage spa, treatment and residential bookings.
Maintain accurate guest information and complete reception administration duties.
Assist guests with queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Conduct spa tours for potential guests and promote our treatments, facilities and services.
Maintain excellent knowledge of the spa, hotel, treatments, products and daily events.
Liaise with the hotel and other departments to support a smooth guest experience.
Keep reception and front-of-house areas clean, tidy and welcoming.
Complete daily cash balancing, voucher enquiries and other reception procedures accurately.
Follow company procedures and always maintain professional standards.

What We’re Looking For

Previous customer service or reception experience is desirable but not essential.
Friendly, helpful and confident approach with guests and colleagues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent computer skills are essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Calm, organised and able to multitask in a busy environment.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Reliable, punctual and professional.
Willingness to take ownership and use initiative when dealing with guest queries.
Flexibility to work weekends is essential.
