Full job description

M N Mollon & Partners Ltd and Healing Tails Vet Practice are looking for a friendly, professional and organised Receptionist to join our team, supporting both horses and domestic animals.

Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm or 9am–5pm on a rota basis.

We are a close-knit team who support one another and take pride in providing excellent care and service to our clients and their animals.

The ideal candidate will be:

Excellent phone etiquette
A self-starter who can use their own initiative
Reliable and flexible
Confident dealing with clients both face-to-face and over the phone
Able to process payments accurately
Comfortable handling blood, animal samples and working in a veterinary laboratory environment
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to remain calm and organised under pressure
Willing to assist with general laboratory duties and other tasks as required
Experience with Xero accounting software is preferred, however this is not essential as full training will be provided
Proficient in using Microsoft Office
Highly organised with outstanding administrative skills
Professional, friendly and compassionate when dealing with clients and their animals
