We have an exciting opportunity for a temporary part-time Clerical Officer/Receptionist to join our dedicated team within Business Services.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
We are looking to appoint a temporary part time Clerical officer/Receptionist within Business Services to provide a professional, effective and efficient receptionist service and general administrative support to visitors and callers.
The post will be primarily based at our Wheatley Hill office however you may be required to cover other offices if required. Please note, this is a non-hybrid role.
We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent customer-service. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, be well-organised and flexible, have good IT skills and manage changing priorities. You will also need to be able to work unsupervised using your own initiative.
Duties include:
Reception duties, dealing with incoming and outgoing correspondence, telephone answering and message taking, ordering, data entry, file management, including scanning and archiving, typing duties including the production of posters and display materials, arranging transport, issue and recording of petty cash transactions, booking rooms and diary management.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You should have 4 GCSEs (A-C grades including English Language or Literature) or NVQ 2 Business (or equivalent related subject).

Interviews will be held week commencing 10 August 2026.
