Full job description

Job Overview
We are looking for experienced, passionate swimming teachers to join our team! The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching 1:1 lessons ensuring they are safe, fun and progressive.

Responsibilities

Conducting lessons tailored to the swimmers needs
Planning lessons for varied ages and skill levels
Ensuring safe practices are carried out
Instilling water confidence and water safety in the learners
Ensuring the lessons are fun as much as they are educational!
Providing feedback to learners and parents about their achievements and goals
Undertaking continual professional development

Skills

SSTQ qualification or equivalent is required
Strong knowledge in swimming technique and teaching practices
Experience in swim teaching is highly desirable
Excellent communication and motivational skills
Patience and adaptability to work with all ability levels
Experience working with ASN children is desirable, a willingness to learn how best to work with ASN students is required
Safeguarding and PVG membership required
