Location: Edinburgh Airport
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £15.12

Work hours: By shift, between 4 am to 9:30PM

At Gold Brothers we’re busy and vibrant shops located in the Edinburgh Airport, offering visitors a wide range of local gifts, keepsakes, and memorabilia. We pride ourselves on friendly customer service, a fun atmosphere, and helping customers find the perfect memento of their visit.

The Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Store Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our shop. In this role, you'll be a key member of the team, helping to lead by example, ensure smooth store performance, and deliver excellent customer service. If you’re proactive, dependable, and passionate about retail, we’d love to hear from you!

Airside pass requirements: 5 years of continuous referencing, Accreditation Check consent and consent to undertake a Criminal Record Check. A Clean Criminal Record and a valid Passport or UK Drivers Licence are essential

Key Responsibilities:

Ad hoc support with store cover when the manager on annual leave or a day off
Supervise and motivate team members to deliver top-tier service
Open and close the store, including cashing up procedures
Ensure the shop is clean, well-stocked, and merchandise is well-presented
Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner
Assist with training new team members
Monitor stock levels and support with ordering/replenishment
Lead by example in providing friendly, efficient service

Proven experience in a supervisory or senior retail role
Strong leadership and communication skills
Confident decision-maker with a hands-on approach
Enthusiastic and customer-focused
Flexible availability, including weekends
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
