About Us

John Coopers is a well-established leader in the caravan and motorhome industry, offering expert servicing, repairs, and habitation checks. As an Approved Workshop Scheme member, we uphold the highest standards of workmanship and customer care. We are also approved by many leading manufacturers for warranty work.

We are proud to be a Chausson main dealer, supplying new motorhomes and carrying out full Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to manufacturer standards, ensuring every new vehicle is fully prepared and presented to the highest level before handover.

In addition to our workshop services, we are a towbar fitting centre and operate a large caravan and motorhome accessory and parts shop, ensuring we have everything needed for repairs, upgrades, and maintenance in stock.

The Role

We are looking for qualified Caravan & Motorhome Technician to join our skilled team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the caravan industry and hold up-to-date City & Guilds Caravan Service, Gas, and Electrical qualifications to work in our Approved Workshop Scheme facility.

Key Responsibilities

Servicing and repairing caravans and motorhomes
Conducting habitation checks and damp testing
Diagnosing and repairing electrical, gas, plumbing, and chassis systems
Fitting accessories such as solar panels, motor movers, and security systems
Ensuring all work meets Approved Workshop Scheme standards

Requirements

Experience in the caravan and motorhome industry
City & Guilds Caravan Service qualification (preferred)
Gas qualification (preferred)
Electrical qualification (preferred)
Strong technical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
