Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Cafe Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service, creating high-quality coffee and beverages, prepare chai and rolls and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an opportunity to develop barista skills in a dynamic café environment, contributing to a positive experience for our customers.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including speciality coffees, teas, and smoothies, ensuring consistency and quality.
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service.
Handle cash transactions and operate the till system with precision.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Engage with customers in a warm, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.
Assist with opening and closing duties as required.

Skills

Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
Organised with strong attention to detail to ensure beverage quality and cleanliness standards are met.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, or evenings as needed.
A friendly demeanour with a passion for coffee and customer satisfaction.
Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions accurately. This position offers an engaging environment where you can develop your barista expertise while providing exceptional service to our valued guests. We value team players who are eager to learn and contribute positively to our café community.

Pay: £12.21-£16.71 per hour
