Level 2 or 3 - Lunchtime Assistant

Hours: 4 hours a day (11:00am-3:00am), 20 hours per week. 28 days paid holiday including national bank holidays, which includes a whole week break over Christmas.

Salary: £12.71 per hour. NEST pension scheme available.

Little Lattons Nursery are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated member to join our team. Ideal candidates would be an effective role model that sets high expectations and motivates the children to play, learn and grow. Applicants must be enthusiastic and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Lunchtime Assistants must be qualified and will need an enhanced DBS check, have an understanding of safeguarding children, health and safety regulations and food hygiene.

They implement educational strategies into fun activities in order to promote a love for learning with enjoyment. It is an environment of fun and friendship; lunchtime is a key part of the day for our team members, giving them that little break to recharge their batteries and be ready for the fun-packed afternoon to follow.

As a lunchtime assistant, you will play a supportive role in ensuring the smooth running of the nursery during lunch hours, you will work flexibly to provide lunch cover, meal preparation and supervising meals, have an outstanding knowledge of allergens and maintain the high standard of hygiene in the kitchen.
