Full job description

Job Summary
We recently opened a new French restaurant next to Borough Market (London Bridge tube Station). We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting the chefs by ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
We are looking for 2 full-timer.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans.
Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Ensure all the whole kitchen, shelve, walls, floor, bins, staff toilettes are clean.
Ensure to have alway blue roll avaialble for chefs use and repost about any product shortage.
Fold delivery boxes daily.
Help with the storage of food supplies and ingredients.
Support chefs during busy service periods by providing assistance where needed.
Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
Communicate any low level of chemicals, clean products, gloves, sponges, etc.

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is advantageous but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and helpful attitude towards colleagues.
A can do attitude and be committed to the job.
Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required.
Understanding of basic health and safety standards within a kitchen setting is beneficial.
NEED TO HAVE THE RIGHT TO WORK IN UK

Salary: £12.71 + service
