Are you looking to start your healthcare career within the NHS? Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting New to Care Health Care Support Workers who are passionate about delivering high-quality, compassionate care.

Main duties of the job are:
Support the delivery of person-centred care under the supervision of registered and non registered nursing staff.

Assist patients with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, meals).

Help with non-clinical duties in a ward or department.

Ensure patient safety, dignity, and wellbeing at all times.

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is committed to developing our workforce and supporting career progression. These Band 2 roles include:

Level 2 Health Care Apprenticeship
Care Certificate training

On successful completion of apprenticeship and care certificate (approximately 8 months), you will have the opportunity to progress to a Band 3 Health Care Assistant role within the Trust.

Please note that this role does not qualify for Visa Sponsorship.

Must be currently in the UK with the right to work

Meet government apprenticeship eligibility criteria

Some of the core tasks required for the role include:
Provide excellent customer care skills to ensure patients come first.

To act as an advocate for patients within the department/ward/unit.

To follow FHFT guidelines, policies, and procedures in maintaining safe working practices for patients and colleagues.

To ensure that patients' receive high quality communication and a good experience, having regard for their customs, religious beliefs, or principles.
