We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator Semi Skilled Part Time to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to fabrication projects by performing welding and assembly tasks with precision and care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for craftsmanship, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. This position is perfect for individuals looking to develop their skills in welding and fabrication while working part-time hours that fit around other commitments.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding and welding techniques to join metal components accurately and efficiently
Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materials
Assist in the fabrication of metal structures, frames, and components according to specifications
Conduct basic measurements and calculations using math skills to ensure precise assembly and fitting
Support the team in maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
Follow safety protocols diligently during all welding and fabrication activities
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards

Skills

Proficiency in MIG welding techniques with an understanding of welding standards
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal fabrication processes
Mechanical knowledge related to assembly, material handling, and equipment operation
Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or sketches accurately
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks
Experience with welding safety procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Strong attention to detail combined with good communication skills for effective teamwork
