Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Ground Worker/Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will assist with a variety of groundwork activities, ensuring that construction projects progress smoothly and safely. Your energy and attention to detail will contribute directly to the successful completion of infrastructure and building developments. This position offers an engaging environment where teamwork, safety, and efficiency are at the forefront of every task.

Duties

Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up work zones
Support the installation of foundations, fencing, drainage systems, and other structural elements
Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision to aid in construction activities
Transport materials, tools, and equipment around the site safely and efficiently
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and to quality standards
Assist with loading and unloading materials from trucks or storage areas

Experience

Previous experience working in construction or manual labour roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for eager learners
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency
Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and protocols
Willingness to follow instructions carefully and adhere to project timelines
