Full job description

Pay: £23,722 (£26,500.50 FTE salary)

42 weeks per year, term time (39 weeks), with the remaining three weeks worked during school holidays to include the week before the start of term in September

At Gloucester Family Care, we believe that every young person deserves to feel safe, valued and supported to achieve their full potential. Behind every GFC service, is a strong administrative team that helps everything run smoothly, and this role is a vital part of that.

We are looking for a friendly, organised and dependable individual to work within our Business Development team, with a focus within our Alternative Education Provision service.

The Compass at Gloucester Family Care offers an engaging, nurturing and supportive Alternative Provision service, for children and young people aged 4-25.

Pay: £23,722

Driving Licence preferred but not mandatory
42 weeks per year, term time (39 weeks), with the remaining three weeks worked during school holidays to include the week before the start of term in September
You will ideally have experience of providing high-quality administrative support using the full range of Microsoft Packages
Based in our Alternative Provision office, you will welcome visitors, children and young people, and parents in a professional and friendly manner
Maintain an awareness of safeguarding responsibilities and report any concerns immediately in line with GFC procedures.
Contribute positively to the culture and values of the organisation

This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in our busy Alternative Provision environment. We are looking for someone who shares our values, works well as part of a team and understands the importance of confidentiality, safeguarding and building positive relationships.

GFC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children you must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosures Barring Service clearance at enhanced level.
