Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance & Business Support Officer to join our team. In this vital role, you will oversee financial processes, support business operations, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Your proactive approach will help streamline accounting activities, manage financial software systems, and provide essential support to various departments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to organizational success through precise financial management and effective business support.

Responsibilities

Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
Maintain and update financial records through data entry and reconciliation tasks within systems like Workday, PeopleSoft, or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities by preparing reports and analyzing data to inform decision-making.
Assist with invoicing, expense tracking, and vendor management to facilitate smooth financial operations.
Monitor and reconcile accounts using various accounting tools to ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial workflows and implement best practices for data accuracy and efficiency.
Provide general administrative support for finance-related projects, including document preparation and record keeping.

Experience

Proven experience working with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with financial services processes including accounts payable, invoicing, and expense management.
Hands-on experience with enterprise systems like Workday or PeopleSoft is highly desirable.
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records.
Knowledge of various accounting tools and software integrations to streamline financial workflows.
Previous experience supporting finance or business operations in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
