Heating Engineer – Take Your Skills to the Next Level with Libtek

Location: Hertfordshire & surrounding areas
Salary: upwards of £42,000 depending on experience + performance bonuses
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm

Libtek is expanding — and we’re looking for skilled Heating Engineers to join our expert team. Whether your experience is in traditional gas systems or you’re starting to explore renewable technologies like air source heat pumps, we want to hear from you.

At Libtek, we specialise in high-efficiency heating systems, including both gas and renewable technologies. Known for quality workmanship and excellent customer service, we work on inspiring domestic projects across Hertfordshire and beyond.

The Role

You’ll work on the installation and maintenance of domestic heating systems, supporting a range of projects from standard boiler systems to modern heat pump installations.

You’ll be supported by experienced team members and leadership, with training provided in renewable technologies, but experience in heat pump installation would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

Install and maintain a range of heating systems (gas and/or heat pumps)
Deliver excellent customer service on-site
Work as part of a close-knit, supportive team
Identify issues, solve problems, and keep projects running smoothly
Ensure all work complies with safety and industry standards

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience installing central heating systems
NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Plumbing & Heating
ACS Gas qualified (or equivalent)
A full UK driving licence
Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and pride in your work
Willingness to train in renewable heating systems (if not already experienced)
