Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team. This role is a relief position. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to cleanliness and customer satisfaction, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This position is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our residents, making it crucial for the Housekeeper to have a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to their duties.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all spaces are tidy and presentable.
Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required, maintaining high standards of hygiene.
Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring all surfaces are clean and free from debris.
Restock cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to management.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or concerns regarding cleanliness.
Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens.
Maintain an organised cleaning schedule to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless operation within the establishment.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not essential.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Basic cooking skills would be an advantage for assisting with meal preparations if required.
Flexibility in working hours is essential; availability on weekends may be necessary.
