Salary: £12.71 per hour + an added rural allowance

Job Overview

Swanbourne House School, based between Aylesbury and Winslow are looking for a Cleaner (Domestic Assistant) to join their team.

Location: MK17 0HZ Swanbourne, Buckinghamshire

Please check the postcode before applying. Due to our rural location, you will need a driving license and access to own vehicle.

Whether you're looking for full-day shifts or part-time hours, we're happy to discuss a working pattern that suits you.

No previous cleaning experience is required – full training and a comprehensive induction will be provided. If you're hardworking, reliable, and take pride in your work, we'd love to hear from you.

Working Hours

This is a term-time position, working 34 weeks during the school term, plus three weeks of deep cleaning during the Christmas, Easter, and summer school holidays.

We currently offer flexible working patterns, including:

Morning shift: Between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm
Evening shift: Between 2:00 pm and 10:00 pm

Role and Responsibilities:

Ensuring classrooms, corridors, offices, and common areas are clean and tidy
Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms and replenishing supplies
Emptying rubbish bins and ensuring waste is disposed of properly
Use professional cleaning machines and equipment to maintain high cleaning standards across the school (full training provided
Reporting any maintenance issues
Following health& safety guidelines and Domestic specifications
