Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Health Care Assistant, where your compassionate nature and proactive attitude will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support. Duties

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
Support the implementation and review of individual care plans, ensuring personalized and effective care delivery
Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for those in your care
Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards
Communicate clearly with team members, clients, and their families to ensure understanding and coordination of care needs
Support transportation needs by driving clients to appointments or outings safely and responsibly when required
Monitor health status by observing changes in condition and reporting any concerns promptly to healthcare professionals

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members
Basic IT skills for documenting care activities and updating electronic health records accurately
Knowledge of care plans, health & safety protocols, and confidentiality standards is advantageous
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring flexibility and responsiveness
