Duty Manager - About you

Confidence in dealing with queries from guests, managers and colleagues
Enjoy making fast paced decisions with accuracy and care
Previous experience in reception at supervisory level minimum is required
Drive and passion to seek out opportunities to go above and beyond for our guests
Enthusiasm and commitment to your work and communication with colleagues
Adept at multi-tasking
A keen eye for detail, organisational skills and a flexible attitude

Aim of the Duty Manager role

To ensure the wellbeing and 5 star experience of all guests during their time at the hotel and maintaining a high level of host presence throughout to ensure the overall smooth running of the hotel at all times when on duty.

Key responsibilities of the Duty Manager:

Ensuring all guests receive prompt service and guidance relating to their stay
Be confident in handling guest requirements, special requests and queries with compassion and accuracy
Ensuring you are prepared for every shift with faultless hotel knowledge
Show passion for your guests’ experience by attending daily briefings to learn about special occasions, requirements and VIP guests
Take ownership in dealing with a varied day from breakfast to busy checkouts
Awareness of all health safety requirements, including fire marshal duties and fire walks
Be flexible in covering all departments and offer support regarding the team to ensure they are equipped for service
Take ownership in the smooth running of all departments during your shift
Cover reception/ night shifts if required

Located on Half Moon Street alongside Piccadilly, The Mayfair Townhouse will debut with 172 rooms suites. The Dandy Bar, private gym and versatile event spaces. Mayfair is synonymous with status, heritage and prestige and up until the mid 18th century was largely rural, famous for its annual May Fair. The townhouses lining Half Moon Street formed the setting for Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest.
