Job Summary

Join our vibrant bakery team as a Full Time Bakery Team Member and become a vital part of creating delicious baked goods that delight our customers every day! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing, serving, and maintaining high-quality baked items while ensuring a welcoming and efficient environment. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help us deliver exceptional service, foster teamwork, and uphold food safety standards. This is a paid position that offers a dynamic work experience in a fast-paced bakery setting where every day brings new opportunities to grow and excel.

Duties

Assist in food preparation by mixing, shaping, and baking a variety of baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards
Serve customers with a friendly attitude, taking orders accurately and providing excellent customer service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, including equipment, workstations, and display cases
Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all products meet health regulations and quality standards
Manage time effectively to ensure timely production and delivery of baked items during busy periods
Operate point-of-sale systems for transactions while handling cash or card payments securely
Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials to keep the bakery fully equipped for daily operations

Experience

Previous experience as a barista or in serving food and beverages is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure safe handling of ingredients and baked goods
Basic math skills are necessary for accurate measurements, portioning, and cash handling
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a positive attitude
Experience with food preparation or baking is a plus but can be developed on the job
