Job Description

**Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee and execute quality assurance and control systems to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality finished goods and customer satisfaction - Conduct positive product release reviews, ensuring all quality criteria and specifications are met before goods leave the facility

Lead and support customer complaint investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions - Collaborate with cross-functional departments (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service) to address quality issues and develop effective solutions - Develop and implement preventative actions and quality improvement initiatives to minimise defects and enhance product performance
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of plant operations, manufacturing processes, and quality standards to provide informed guidance - Communicate quality findings, trends, and recommendations clearly to senior management and relevant stakeholders - Monitor and analyse quality metrics and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry best practices - Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify adherence to quality procedures and documentation requirements - Provide training and guidance to production teams on quality expectations and process improvements - Maintain detailed quality records and documentation to support traceability and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:** - 5 years of management experience within high-speed manufacturing industry, ideally in glass or packaging sectors

ISO audit qualification or internal auditor training certification - Demonstrated expertise in investigations and root cause analysis methodologies - Strong knowledge of quality assurance systems, manufacturing processes, and relevant quality standards - Proficiency in analysing quality metrics and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement **Preferred Qualifications:**
Experience with regulatory compliance and industry best practices in manufacturing - Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and implementing corrective actions - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to senior management - Experience in developing and delivering training programmes to production teams - Familiarity with quality documentation systems and traceability requirements
